Fairytale Treasure Hunt & Picnics

September 2004 & 2005, and April 2007

In an effort to bring alive theatre experiences for children and to show the delights of Gatton Park, Gatton Community Theatre organises an annual Fairytale Treasure Hunt and Picnic for families and younger children in the enchanting grounds of Gatton Park. Who knows what might be discovered on this adventure into the imaginative world of Fairytales!

Following the clues to the stories through Gatton Park's magical grounds you just might see witches and giants, frogs and princesses, robbers or even enchanted animals. On your hunt for treasure you might visit the old rose garden, the hop garden, the old engine pond, the Park's famous Japanese Garden as well as the newly installed magical mathematical maze down in the woods.

Ideal entertainment for families and young children - the route though the park is about a mile and a half and is easy for pushchairs. Participants should bring their own picnic - we'll supply the treasure and the magic!
